Vinyl stabilizer weight (318g) used to dampen vibrations but not overload turntable bearings. Height of weight is 1.33 inches which should fit under most dust covers when closed. You should measure the height between your platter and the dust cover if you prefer to play with the dust cover lid closed.

KurtMay 19, 2022This is by far one of my favorite record weights . Nice and heavy, cool looking for sure . I have a Audio Technica record weight which is suspect on whether or not it works properly since I can spin it independently of moving the record . Once on, along with the turntable also on and rotating it seems to work but I drilled the weight and it works fine . Enough about AT . The RKS weight is awesome , well made and it works . It’s minimalistic but beautiful with some weight to it . It comes in a hinged box that adds to the mystique , along with the the RKS logo on top . I highly recommend! A bit b pricy but we’ll worth it
